# Adding Preheader Text

Add a preheader to your email template for a short preview text that appears next to the subject line in recipients’ inboxes.

Enhance your email's effectiveness by adding a preheader—a brief summary that appears next to the subject line in recipients' inboxes. To add a preheader:

1. Open the email template in the EasyMails editor.
2. Navigate to the **Body** settings in the right-hand panel.
3. Scroll down to the **Email Settings** section.
4. Enter your desired text into the **Preheader Text** field.

This preheader provides additional context, encouraging recipients to open your email.
