Using Mirror Columns as Merge Tags in Templates

EasyMails now supports Mirror Columns in templates, so you can use Mirror Column values as merge tags in your email subject and body.

What is a Mirror Column?

A Mirror Column in monday.com shows values pulled from a connected board (via a Connect Boards column). EasyMails can insert the same mirrored value into your email when sending.

How to use a Mirror Column in a template

  1. Open EasyMails and go to Templates.

  2. Create a new template or open an existing one.

  3. Click inside the Subject or Body where you want to insert the value.

  4. Open Fields / Merge Tags (the same place you insert tags like {Name}).

  5. Select your Mirror Column from the list.

  6. Save your template.

Notes

  • If the Mirror Column is empty for an item, the merge tag output will be blank.

  • If a Mirror Column contains multiple values, EasyMails will insert the combined value as shown in the monday.com item.

Example

Template:

Hi {Name}, your account owner is {Mirror Column: Account Owner}.

Result:

Hi John, your account owner is Sarah.

If you want, in step 2 we’ll add a small mention + one line example into your existing “Creating and Sending Emails” page so users discover this feature earlier in the flow.
