Formula & Number Column Formatting

Values from number and formula columns will appear in emails with the same formatting as your monday.com board (currency, decimals, percentages, etc.), ensuring consistency and clarity.

How It Helps:

  • Keeps emails consistent with your monday.com setup.

  • Avoids confusion when sharing data externally.

  • Saves time since you don’t need to reformat values in the email editor.

Example:

  • If a number column on your board is set to show $1,200.00, the email will also display $1,200.00.

  • If a formula returns 85%, the email will show 85% in the same format.

How to Change Number Column Format in monday.com

  1. Go to your board in monday.com.

  2. Locate your Number column.

  3. Click the column menu (three dots next to the column name).

  4. Select Column Settings → Customize Numbers Column.

  5. Choose the format you want, such as:

    • Currency (e.g., $, €, ¥)

    • Percentage

    • Decimal places

    • Any Custom Formulas

Once you change it in monday.com, EasyMails will automatically reflect the same format in your emails.
