# Formula & Number Column Formatting

Values from number and formula columns will appear in emails with the same formatting as your monday.com board (currency, decimals, percentages, etc.), ensuring consistency and clarity.

**How It Helps:**

* Keeps emails consistent with your monday.com setup.
* Avoids confusion when sharing data externally.
* Saves time since you don’t need to reformat values in the email editor.

**Example:**

* If a number column on your board is set to show **$1,200.00**, the email will also display **$1,200.00**.
* If a formula returns **85%**, the email will show **85%** in the same format.

**How to Change Number Column Format in monday.com**

1. Go to your board in monday.com.
2. Locate your Number column.
3. Click the column menu (three dots next to the column name).
4. Select Column Settings → Customize Numbers Column.
5. Choose the format you want, such as:
   * Currency (e.g., $, €, ¥)
   * Percentage
   * Decimal places
   * Any Custom Formulas<br>

Once you change it in monday.com, EasyMails will automatically reflect the same format in your emails.
